The king of fruits; mango is delicious fruit having a wonderful flavor and charming fragrance. Apart from this, mangoes are loaded with high vitamin A and vitamin C because of which, have the great market demand all the year around. So, friends, growing mango tree is a good idea to start a new tree farming business plan. Because Mango trees are hardy in nature & need relatively low maintenance than other fruit tree farming like the Pomegranate Farming or Dragon Fruit Farming etc. mango is known as Mangifera indica, a kind of flowering plant & tastefully fruits. With advance mango farming techniques, one can change mango farming into most profitable fruit trees to grow .Just using the proper mango cultivation methods in your mango farm,can help your trees yield quality fruits as well as a large quantity. Mangoes can be used at any stage of its growth.eg,when unripe you can use mangoes to prepare pickles, juices, chutney.when ripe, they can be used in preparing numbers of a product like jams, jellies, syrups, squashes, nectar, etc. So, there is no waste of your produce mangoes. Climate Condition For Mango Farming As mango trees are vigorous in nature & require less maintenance than other commercial fruit tree farming business. So, mango cultivation can be done anywhere, where there is not much humidity in the atmosphere along with good rainfall & dry atmosphere. However, at the time of flowering, low temp. is essential like winter or monsoon. However, hot & temperate climatic conditions are the habitat of the mango tree. However, temp. ranging between 24 to 30 ‘C is considered as the best suitable for mango cultivation for getting more fruit production. Land selection Mango trees are large in size hence high-speed winds can ruin your mango cultivation.It is therefore better to stay away from those areas where the wind is strong as this can lead to loss of flowers & mango fruits in your mango farm. Sometimes, heavy winds break the branches badly. Spacing The spacing varies from 6 X 6 M to 7 X 7 M. In dry areas, the spacing should be 6 X 6 M because of less growth. While in heavy rainfall area & fertile soil, the spacing should be 7 X 7 M because of higher physical growth. If your soil is infertile, then it should be supplemented at the time of planting onwards. For this, prepare a suitable pit. Then add about 25 kg of farmyard manure along with 3 kg of Super Phosphate & one kg of Potash. However, the row spacing (about 6 m) along with tree spacing (around 6 m) is supposed to be the best mango tree plantation distance. With the help of this, you will be able to plant around 140 mango plants per acre. Take care that mango farming can be done over a wide range of soil, but it is beneficial if mangoes are cultivated in the more salty, alkaline, rocky, and water-filled land.
